Olivia Nurrish gained a degree in Fine Art from Bristol and after a long period working and raising a family has returned to painting having been inspired by the wonderful scenery of Dorset. She was a founding director of Artwey, aiming to promote her fellow artists from Weymouth and Portland through organising Open Studios and various pop-up exhibitions throughout the towns.

With a colleague she also produced an official Cultural Olympic project ‘The Giant Wall’ in 2012. Her work is a familiar sight in the area as she exhibits and sells regularly in addition to her commissions.

Olivia will be exhibiting during this year’s Dorset Art Weeks from her studio overlooking Portland Harbour, Chesil, Sandsfoot Castle and Castle Cove Beach.  Visit her and enjoy her work and the scenery that inspires it.
