After three years of study at Salisbury College of Art I went on to pursue a career in Graphic Design, spending eighteen years in London. On returning home to the West Country the beautiful land and seascapes have inspired me to put down the computer mouse and pick up the brushes.
I am a member of Artwey, a community of artists in the Weymouth, Portland & Dorchester area and exhibit regularly in Dorset.
I now work mainly with acrylics which lend themselves well to the subtleties of the ever changing mood and colours of the Landscape. Through my work I seek to interpret the qualities of energy and light, capturing moments in time and the interaction of my subjects with their surroundings.
Dorset has an abundance of inspirational subjects to paint but my recent focus has become the study of waves and the shore.
