I was a 2017 finalist in “A Stitch in Time” – an international on-line competition run by Artscene in the USA for my Bennett’s Water Gardens picture. Have a look here.
I attempt to recreate the beauty I encounter every day into vibrant colourful hand- sewn collage land and seascapes made from new, recycled, remnant and hand painted cottons. Framed in driftwood, these, alongside prints and other items, are sold locally and in galleries in Devon and Cornwall.
I have some of my local Portland work in the Athay Gallery here on Portland.
I have been chairman of Artwey for a number of years and have been selected to become a member of the Association of British Naive Art .
My role in organising Open For Art 2019 has also kept me busy!
I was featured in Coast magazine, the March issue and also on their website. Photos by Antje Rook of Neil & I as well as photos of my work. We’re really pleased with it!
I have been invited to exhibit in the Artisans’ Tent for the Dorset County Show on September 7th and 8th.
