My work is hand-built and raku-fired, an exciting, unpredictable and dramatic process.
I start out with slabs and cut and adjust these, with some additional pinching and coiling to create my figures.

I started going to ceramics classes at Morley College in London in 2003, and later went to classes at Southhill Park in Bracknell. I am now part of a group, Upwey Ceramics, that meets weekly.

Upwey Ceramics will be holding an exhibition at Upwey Village Hall on the 28th and 29th October, which will include textiles and paintings as well as sculpture and ceramics.

I have been selected by Marshwood Arts Awards 2017 in the Applied Arts category. The results will be announced on the 3rd November and the exhibition at Bridport Arts Centre will run from the 4th Nov to the 2nd Dec.
