‘A hidden gem on the isle of Portland!’
These are the words often used to describe this delightful little café/gallery owned and run by artist David Nicholls.
White Stones is popular among the locals and a trip here will give you the opportunity to view not only David’s own artwork but also a mixture of work by other local artists. The artwork on show can vary from painting, print photography, ceramics, sculpture and jewelry.

From the front, White Stones looks quite small but make your way inside and you will discover that it is not only the comfy sofas in the front bar area but more seating can be found in the rear gallery and beyond is a delightful covered courtyard and small sculpture garden, described as a ‘peaceful oasis in the heart of Easton!’
White Stones offers a range of drinks and is fully licensed, so you can relax in the courtyard in the summer with a glass of wine or cozy up on the sofa with a freshly made triple certified coffee or delicious hot chocolate in the winter!

The food menu is varied and offers home cooked locally sourced food. As well as the breakfast and lunch menu, there is also selection of locally made cakes and slices on offer.
A recent addition to White Stones is a small deli and gift area, offering Dorset and British products. There is Free Wi-Fi and full disabled access throughout and White Stones is family friendly and dogs are allowed in the covered courtyard and garden.

David and his team look forward to welcoming you to this unique little piece of Portland!
