Stitching from a very early age I am a traditional embroiderer. I enjoy a wide range of techniques. This means my work has great diversity.

I have exhibited widely in Surrey.  Guildford Cathedral, Guildford House Museum, Denby’s Winery, Haselmere Museum, and Rampster In Dorset  Drill Hall Portland, Nothe Fort, Oasis Cafe , Old Town Hall and Stone Pier Cafe.

My inspiration comes from the world around me. Holiday trips as well as the fabric and threads themselves are also inspiring.More recently I have used mixed media in my work, combining paint, paper and paint with the threads which gives the work a new dimension.

The last few years I have restricted myself to using up my considerable ‘Stash’ of fabric and threads which has meant i have had to be more creative.

Last year, I  again started running short work shops primarily for people who want to learn from scratch but also for  those who would like to extent or refresh their current knowledge.
