Dianne Mary Alice
Medium: Oils/Acrylics and Watercolours.
I am inspired by the Dorset countryside and sea where I live. I don’t have any formal training but have worked in fashion and garden design so love colour texture and form. As well as my online exhibition, I am also exhibiting “in person” with the Nothe Fort Group.
Working mostly in oil paint I like to use colour to capture our beautiful Dorset coastline. I have always lived in Dorset and there really is no place like home.
Elaine Harris (also Photography)

I’m inspired by the sounds and movement of the sea, the beauty and colours of nature and the character of people around me. As well as my online exhibition, I am also exhibiting “in person” with the Nothe Fort Group.
Podi Lawrence (Also Drawing)
Medium: Oils, Acrylics, Inks, Mixed Media.
I start with a visual image in my head, whether the inspiration is a scene, landscape, people or portraits. It doesn’t always come out the same, but develops as I work. As well as exhibiting “in person” I am also exhibiting online with the Portland Heights Group.
My paintings feature landscapes, seascapes and natural forms. I exhibit locally and have been involved in community projects and workshops. As well as my online exhibition, I am also exhibiting “in person” with the Nothe Fort Group.
Medium: Acrylic/Oil/Watercolour/Charcoal/Pastel/Ink/Graphite Pencil.
I always enjoy Portrait and Figure painting or drawing – either as a single subject or in a context which may be narrative plus landscape & seascape. I vary mediums and styles.
Debbie Leech (also Painting)

I enjoy expressing myself in a variety of creative ways. Lockdown gave me the time and opportunity to go deeper into different methods of printmaking including collography, gelli and linoprinting. As well as my online exhibition, I am also exhibiting “in person” with the Nothe Fort Group.

I enjoy the tactile sensations of carving stone revealing its inner character and the geometry of the nature that surrounds us. As well as my online exhibition, I am also exhibiting “in person” with the Nothe Fort Group.
Medium: Sheep/Alpaca and other Wools and Materials.
I love to needle felt and I love nature. This is reflected in my work. I predominantly work with sheep’s wool but also enhance my work with other fibres and embellishments. As well as my online exhibition, I am also exhibiting “in person” with the Nothe Fort Group.
Medium: Fine Art Batik & Watercolours.
I take my inspiration from the natural world. Painting in watercolours then moving the illustrations into Batik with stitch to create original art work.
Medium: Textiles/Mixed Materials and Threads/Inktense.
My work is very much inspired by my environment, also by other people and my experiences. I love to use vibrant colours in my work, which ranges from small delicate pictures to large displays.
