Georgie Moore
Georgie fell in love with the Linocut printmaking process while at Art School, where she gained an HND in Illustration. The work created by Grosvenor School of printmakers, including Cyril Powers and Sybil Andrews, also fuelled this passion.

While bringing up her children, Georgie also inspired children’s creativity, whilst working as a class teaching assistant, in primary school. After 20 years, She felt that it was time to finally follow her own dream. She now creates original artwork that others can resonate with, as one of her customers said “This piece brings me such joy every time I walk past it.”

She embraces inspiration from many different sources and combines this with her own imagination to create unique prints. She uses single, reduction and multi-block printing techniques. Sometimes she combines this with tissue paper to produce multi-layered pieces. The nature of this process means that there are subtle differences in each piece, giving them a degree of spontaneity.

‘My aim is to impart positivity, love through my work.”
