Jacqueline M Byrne is a visual artist whose interdisciplinary practice explores environmental fragility, memory, trace and impermanence. Working across installation, sculpture, film, land art and process-led making, she frequently incorporates natural and reclaimed materials, allowing place and material to shape the work.
Her practice is strongly influenced by coastal and rural landscapes and often takes the form of immersive or site-responsive installations that encourage reflection on ecological balance, human impact and material responsibility. Alongside exhibited works, Byrne creates ephemeral environmental interventions using found natural materials. These temporary works are intentionally left to degrade and return to the landscape, often surviving only through photographic documentation.

Her work has been exhibited in the UK, Europe, China and the USA. Byrne is a member of Artwey CIC, Dorset Visual Arts (Salon Collective), Arts Territory Exchange and Visual Artists Ireland.

Online and Site-Responsive Works:

Since 2020 Byrne has developed and presented a series of digitally documented environmental installations and ephemeral land-based works, including Prayer Flowers and Renewal, which exist temporarily within the landscape and are preserved through photographic and film documentation.
