I was born in Weymouth and moved away for work at 18 years old. I now live in Wyke Regis since retiring and loving being back home with the family.
I did art school and collage. For 3 years I taught an after school art club. It was fantastic seeing the children able to express themselves through art. I paint using acrylics and occasionally other mediums. Recently I have been using texture too. I love to experiment with different techniques and colours in an abstract style. I have only started to paint since retiring and I am self taught in fluid acrylics.
My inspiration comes from all around me, in particular the Jurassic coast, fossils, nature and floral.
