I am a painter who is interested in the environment and how people affect the landscape and coastal areas. Recently my work has been focused on local seaweed, because it holds carbon dioxide, helping our environment. My paintings are usually acrylic on canvas, but enjoy playing with collage, oils, watercolour and textiles.
I love working with others in my community and have started the Wyke Winter Art Trail which takes place around the first week of December.
I am a retired Textiles and Art teacher and enjoy sharing my work with others and hope to be more experimental this year.
