John Davey is renowned for his sculptures that investigate the journey of formation inspired by nature, man-made forms and the mastery of the ancients. He draws great inspiration from the Sea and landscapes of the Jurassic Coast.
His sculptures reflect these natural and man-made environments through carving and construction, the very essence of sculpting itself, the emotional and tactile feeling of creation and transition into form.
John now based in Dorset continues to draw from his inspirations and explore these within his practice, creating speculative pieces, themed collections as well as commissions for commercial and private clients.
