Jenny Hunt is an artist and writer living in a medieval thatched cottage in Dorset. She has had a lifelong love of the natural world, from a childhood immersed in the green depths of Oxleas Woods and her grandparents’ farm in Devon, to the prehistoric chalk landscape of
Dorset. She enjoys beach-combing along the Jurassic Coast, collecting fossils, sea-washed china and glass, feathers and driftwood. She then creates detailed drawings of her finds in ink and watercolour. Jenny sets these against background sketches of iconic places along the Dorset coast. She has published two annotated sketchbooks, featuring the landscape and wildlife of Chesil Beach and the Jurassic Coast. Also available from her studio are original paintings, prints, cards, calendars etc. Her work is sold in many galleries, bookshops and tourist centres in Dorset.
