Bill Crumbleholme's Diary | Fire & Ice : Portland Arts Centre Exhibition : The Opening Bonfire

Fire & Ice : Portland Arts Centre Exhibition : The Opening Bonfire

28-02-2010

On 28th February 2010 Bill Crumbleholme is one of the chief pyromaniacs for the opening weekend of the Portland Art Centre's Fire & Ice exhibition.

Bill will be firing pottery in the bonfire during the afternoon.

The pottery will be made by Bill and other local potters and students.

David Archer, who has set up a new studio at the Centre for his Hundred Aker Wood Pottery, will also be joining in.

There will be another batch of pottery fired in the closing bonfire on the afternoon of Sunday 28th March - the last day of the event.

Bill will also be part of a group running workshops casting lead-free pewter in cuttlefish moulds, making jewellery inspired by snopwflakes.
